Kirk Penton, Castanet – A downtown Penticton property recently sold for nearly $1.6 million.
Western Investor reports the 0.31-acre site at 32 Backstreet Blvd. fetched $1.585 million in late June. It is a development site located just off Front and Main streets, making it one of the most desirable locations in the South Okanagan city.
The sale price worked out to $5.2 million per acre. The property is zoned for urban centre commercial, meaning practically any kind of business could set up shop at the location.
