Kirk Penton, Castanet – A downtown Kelowna office building was sold earlier this month for nearly $2.9 million.
The two-storey structure, which is located at 1334 St. Paul St., changed hands on June 13 for $2.875 million, or $646 per square foot. It is the former home of CTQ Consultants.
The 4,453 square-foot building features several private offices, meeting rooms, a collaborative open workspace, employee lunchroom with kitchenette and 12 on-site parking stalls. It is located half a block from the under-construction UBC Okanagan downtown campus.
William Wright Commercial brokered the deal, with agents Jeff Brown and Victoria Mitchell representing the seller and Nick Renton standing in for the buyer.
The building was in the news last year, as its property was the recipient of a skyrocketing assessment from BC Assessment. The property on which it sits increased in value from $1,894,000 in 2022 to $3,707,100 in 2023. That figure decreased to $3,058,300 in 2024.
CTQ Consultants moved to a new office in Landmark District earlier this year.
