Okanagan Edge – A pair of Canadian companies are putting stores in one of Kelowna’s newest lakeside developments.

Jugo Juice and Chocolats Favoris will soon open their doors in Movala, a Stober Group project that is located in South Pandosy along Lakeshore Road. The development features 325 homes and 16,000 square feet of retail space.

“As Kelowna locals, we’ve always felt a strong connection to this vibrant city,” said Pushpinder Kaur, who is the co-owner of the new Jugo Juice location. “That’s why we chose Movala as Jugo Juice’s newest home. A stunning, modern development just steps from the beach, it’s the perfect blend of beauty, community and healthy living, values that align perfectly with the Jugo Juice brand.”

The Jugo Juice location plans to open in late January.

Jay Hedley and Jézabel Pouliot are the Chocolats Favours franchisees, and they wanted to open a Kelowna location after discovering the chocolate during a visit to Pouliot’s hometown in Quebec.

“We only had one place in mind, as Kelowna is the ultimate year-round destination, and Movala ticked all the boxes for us as franchisees,” Hedley said. “A stone’s throw from Gyro, with direct access to the bike path and easy commute from downtown and the surrounding suburbs, it was a clear choice in terms of location.

“Stober Group has created an exceptional, beautiful space that perfectly complements the Chocolats Favoris experience.”

Chocolats Favoris is also targeted to open in early 2026.
