The only sit down licenced restaurant/lounge beside internationally recognized Simon Fraser University. Fully built out and equipment filled kitchen with hood fan, prep area, 2 walk in coolers and a walk in freezer. This location has been operational as a restaurant since 2009, as Club Ilia Eatery and Lounge and has been extremely successful with caterings, student/teacher events, as well as serving the growing community of non student residents who choose to live on this scenic and beautiful mountain top. To assist in accessibility and growth of the Mountain, trans-link and SFU are in discussion with the City of Burnaby to construct a gondola system to bring pedestrian from Production way SkyTrain station to SFU’s bus loop, which is located 100 feet from the restaurant entrance.
